If you haven’t tried one of the special tours that are offered at Walt Disney World, then you are definitely missing out. The tours are extra paid events where you can get a more exclusive experience around the different theme parks at Walt Disney World. We have now learned about a new tour that will be offered exclusively for the 20th anniversary of Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The tour, A Path Less Traveled – Disney’s Animal Kingdom 20th Anniversary Tour, will be offered only from April 1st through May 5th. The tour will feature a variety of unique experiences that guests who love Animal Kingdom won’t want to miss.

First, the tour will offer a special backstage visit to the veterinary hospital and Animal Nutrition Center for an exclusive tour. Guests will even get to perform a nest check on a purple martin birdhouse at the center. This is one of Disney’s conservation projects and they will get to learn all about it and how it is cared for. They will also be able to experience Caring for Giants where they get to see some of the larger animals at Animal Kingdom and learn how they are cared for. Then guests will get a special VIP viewing of Rivers of Light to close out the experience.
This limited tour event will cost $59 per person, plus taxes. Guests can book the experience by calling 407-939-7529 and should be prepared to pay for the entire cost of the reservation at the time of booking. The tour will begin at 10:30 AM on the date of the reservation. Theme park admission is required in addition to the cost of the tour.
