5. Ice Cream Martini at L’Artisan des Glaces Sorbet and Ice Cream Shop – France Pavilion, Epcot

This place offers extremely decadent ice cream desserts, along with an amazing atmosphere since the location is positioned within the France pavilion in Epcot. The ice cream that is served in the shop is a somewhat of a cross between traditional ice cream and gelato, so it is rich and creamy. You definitely want to give the martini a try. You get a couple scoops of ice cream in a martini glass with a liqueur shot of your choice over the top. Delicious and gives a little extra punch to your treat!

4. Plaza Ice Cream Sundae – Main Street USA, Magic Kingdom

The Plaza is an amazing location right on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom. You have to try one of their sundaes, where you can pick your toppings and even enjoy them in the Mickey pants bowl that so many Disney fans love to get as a souvenir from their trip. There is just something amazing about enjoying a delicious ice cream right in front of Cinderella Castle. Don’t worry about the diet and indulge and in a delicious treat. You will walk it off later!

3. Mickey Premium Bar – Numerous Locations, Walt Disney World Resort

You will be able to find these little beauties all over Walt Disney World, inside and outside of the resorts. There is something about the chocolate on these delicious bars that you just can’t get enough of. We Disney addicts do say that everything tastes better with Mickey ears and that definitely rings true in this case. The chocolate is very thick and helps to prevents as bad of a drippy mess on hot days. If you have somehow not had one of these, make sure to add this to your treat bucket list on your next trip!

2. Dole Whip – Adventureland, Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Polynesian Resort

This is a rite of passage for Disney fans. You have likely heard Disney fan after Disney fan talk about the Dole Whip and how amazing it is. Well, my dear readers, it is true! The Dole Whip is an extremely tasty and refreshing treat that you have to try. Fortunately, the Dole Whip is available in several locations now, so you can still get it even if you aren’t visiting the Magic Kingdom. It isn’t technically ice cream since it has no dairy, but it still makes this list because it is ice cream-like and it deserves to be on every top list we can find for delicious, refreshing treats. If you want the “adult” version of the treat, then be sure to get yours at Disney’s Polynesian Resort since alcohol isn’t served in the Magic Kingdom.

About Christy Caby

I am a diehard Disney fanatic! I fell in love with all things Disney from an early age and that only increased once I first visited Walt Disney World! It led me to complete a yearlong Disney College Program working at merchandise locations within Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Disney-MGM Studios at that time) and I worked for Disney Parks & Resorts Technology in Project/Program Management. Now I get to write about Disney and help others plan their magical vacations! Disney holds a special place in the hearts of my entire family as my husband proposed there, we honeymooned there, took trips while pregnant with each of my boys and have visited with them many, many times from 8 weeks old through now. One of my favorite memories from each trip is always the look on my kids’ faces the first time they see the castle. I’d love to help you plan your magical vacation!
