The official 20th anniversary of the opening of Disney’s Animal Kingdom is coming up on April 22nd. The theme park opened on Earth Day, which is the perfect day to celebrate a park that focuses no conservation efforts. There will be special fun and festivities at the park during the Party for the Planet celebration that is set to run from April 22nd through May 5th. If you will be in the area and want to celebrate this momentous occasion, then you will definitely want to check out some of the top events and attractions in the park!

Here are the top things you need to check out during Party for the Planet at Disney’s Animal Kingdom:
Rafiki’s Planet Watch: There will be a variety of different family-friendly activities, including backstage interactions with animal care experts and learn about the veterinary care, nutrition and behavior of the animals.
Tree of Life Cupcake: Enjoy a delicious Tree of Life cupcake! They will be available at Creature Comforts, Pizzafari, Flame Tree Barbecue and Restaurantosaurus. You can also check out the plant-based Impossible Burger at Restaurantosaurus or the Earth Day Sliders at Nomad Lounge.
Tiffins Talks: Enjoy Tiffins Talks where guests can learn about Disney’s conservation efforts to reverse the decline for species that are at risk. The event is a themed dinner that is hosted by animal and conservation experts. You can make reservations by calling 407-WDW-DINE.
Shopping: You will definitely want to head over to Windtraders on Pandora – The World of Avatar in order to check out the special-edition Banshee. This Banshee is exclusively for the 20th anniversary celebration. There is also a variety of other exclusive merchandise for the celebration in the gift shops throughout the entire park.
Wilderness Explorers: Definitely spend time earning all of your Wilderness Explorers badges as you learn more about animals and conservation. There will also be a limited-edition badge for the special celebration.
Photo Opportunities: There will a variety of different PhotoPass photo opportunities throughout the park. Some of the photo spots are equipped with props or special Magic Shots that you can get. There will also be a lot of great selfie spots, too!
Pandora Utility Suit: Be sure to check out the new Pandora Utility Suit. There are will be appearances within Pandora to check out the new suit and learn about the flora and fauna on Pandora. This definitely looks to be an extremely cool experience!
Special Earth Day Souvenir: There will be special Disney Conservation Fund penny press designs for guests to add to their pressed penny collections. You will definitely want to sang these while you can as they make fantastic souvenirs.
