We previously announced that Walt Disney World would be celebrating Animal Kingdom’s 20th anniversary on Earth Day, April 22nd. For those of you who will be celebrating at home, we have an extra special announcement from Disney Parks Blog. #DisneyParksLIVE will be hosting a special live stream of the celebration to check out Party for the Planet! Guests can check out the kickoff of the festivities live from Disney Parks Blog. The live stream will start at 10:15 AM EST on April 22nd. You can find the link on the Disney Parks Blog page just before the live stream is set to begin.

The Party for the Planet will actually run from April 22nd through May 5th so that guests in the area have multiple opportunities to celebrate this amazing milestone. There will be a variety of different events, experiences and extras available during the party that guests won’t want to miss. April 22nd will also mark the premiere of the new show, “UP! A Great Bird Adventure.” This show will feature Russell and Dug from the movie, UP. This date will also be the first time that guests will be able to see the Pandora Utility Suit live in action for the first time.
With all of these amazing experiences planned, it is definitely a great time to check out what is going on at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. If you can’t make it to the park, be sure to check out the live stream so that you can get a little dose of the action!
