When most guests thinks about a Walt Disney World vacation, they probably picture the four theme parks and enjoying the countless amazing attractions located at each. Some guests might even picture relaxing by the pool or shopping, but one of the most amazing things to enjoy in Walt Disney World is the food! From fine dining to snack carts, there are hundreds of locations where guests can order up delicious options with choices that are sure to thrill every member of the family. While there are some amazing restaurants and meals that guests love to enjoy on each vacation, a lot of guests love to indulge in decadent and delicious snacks since it is after all a vacation. The classic Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar features vanilla ice cream encased in milk chocolate shaped like the mouse himself. Guests who are looking for the perfect portable snack that is also refreshing should look for ice cream carts and coolers throughout Walt Disney World.

2. Dole Whip

Many guests who visit Walt Disney World don’t consider their vacation to be complete until they’ve enjoyed a classic snack found in the Magic Kingdom’s Adventureland. Aloha Isle is sponsored by Dole and serves up the beloved Dole Whip which brings the refreshing flavor of pineapple to life. Guests can enjoy either a Dole Whip Cup which features either pineapple, vanilla, or swirled flavors or the Pineapple Float which features pineapple ice cream with pineapple juice. While the Dole Whip has its own following, another refreshing snack found in the Magic Kingdom’s Adventureland has its own large fan base. The Citrus Swirl can be found at Sunshine Tree Terrace and combines the delicious flavors of orange and vanilla. Guests can enjoy either a Citrus Swirl Cup featuring orange slushy and vanilla soft serve ice cream or a Citrus Swirl Orange Float which combines citrus orange and vanilla soft serve ice creams with orange soda.

4. School Bread

The Norway Pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase is home to an amazing bakery that serves up traditional Norwegian snacks and treats including a guest favorite. Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe is the home of School Bread which is a sweet roll with cardamom flavors filled with vanilla custard and topped with toasted coconut. School Bread is a big enough snack to share, but guests won’t want to lose out on a single bite of this delicious option!

5. Mickey Pretzel

Many signature foods found in Walt Disney World are iconic and loved because they are shaped like Mickey himself. One of the most popular options to enjoy is the Mickey Pretzel which is a soft pretzel served warm with salt. One of the most popular dining locations in Walt Disney World is ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Dinner is a family style all you can eat affair, but dessert is one of the highlights of the meal. The ‘Ohana Bread Pudding combines a warm bread pudding topped with a bananas foster sauce. Since ‘Ohana is a particularly hard restaurant to get a reservation for, guests also love that they can order up the dessert at the nearby Tambu Lounge.

8. Grey Stuff

Be Our Guest Restaurant in the Magic Kingdom invites guests to step into the Beast’s Castle and dine like royalty. While the meals are inspired by classic French cuisine, a favorite dessert option is inspired by a line in the song “Be Our Guest” from Beauty and the Beast. The Grey Stuff features a chocolate shell with cookie crème topped with the famous frosting.

The Plaza Ice Cream Parlor on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom is a favorite spot of guests as they serve up delicious hand scooped ice cream with all of the fixings. One of the most popular menu items at the location is the massive Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich which is the perfect snack to indulge in on a hot day. The treat features one scoop of ice cream sandwiched between two large and fresh baked chocolate chip cookies.

10. Turkey Leg

One of the most popular savory items that guests enjoy snacking on in Walt Disney World is most famously found along the banks of the Rivers of America in the Magic Kingdom’s Frontierland. Guests who visit Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge can enjoy quick service dining options from The Mara including a snack that is unique and delicious. Zebra Domes are bite sized snacks that combine an Amarula Cream Liquor mousse with a white chocolate coating and milk chocolate drizzle. The delicious snacks are aptly names as the milk chocolate drizzles form black stripes that look just like a zebra.

A delicious snack that many guests love to indulge in can be found at La Cantina de San Angel in the Mexico pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase. Churros are fried dough smothered in cinnamon sugar, and guests who order them up in the Mexico Pavilion can enjoy them warm with a delicious caramel sauce for dipping.

13. Poutine

Guests who enjoy the traditional Canadian snack poutine must check out a quick service location in Disney Springs that serves up several different varieties. The Daily Poutine is located in the Town Center and offers up Classic Poutine with Beef Poutine Gravy and Cheddar Cheese Curds, Latin Poutine with Fried Yucca, Black Beans, Pulled Pork, and Queso Fresco, Italian Poutine with Mozzarella and Bolognese Sauce, and French Poutine with Mushroom Cream Sauce and Gruyere Cheese.

14. Beignets

Disney’s Port Orleans Resort French Quarter is home to Scat Cat’s Club Cafe which serves up fried pockets of dough smothered in powdered sugar. That’s right – beignets! Guests can even order up the Beignet Ice Cream Sundae which combines fresh ice cream with beignets, chocolate sauce, and whipped cream.
