10. Jungle Skipper Canteen – Adventureland in Magic Kingdom

This is a Disney restaurant that is based on the popular Magic Kingdom attraction in Adventureland, the Jungle Cruise. If you have been on this attraction, then you are familiar with the corny jokes and banter that the skippers give on the ride. Well, the jokes and banter carry right on over to the skippers at the restaurant. The food is also amazing and unique with flavors from Asia, Africa and other areas.

9. Sanaa – Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Kidani Village

This is an extremely unique location on property that you definitely don’t want to miss. You get to dine overlooking the savanna, so you see giraffes and other animals while you dine. You also don’t want to miss the na’an bread service and the other African-inspired dishes.

8. Biergarten – Germany Pavilion in Epcot

The food and atmosphere at this location is absolutely amazing. You dine in true German fashion and long tables with musical entertainment keeping up the energy in the restaurant. The meal is an “all you care to enjoy” meal where you go up to the buffet and sample the delicious meats and German flavors.

7. California Grill – Disney’s Contemporary Resort

This is definitely a restaurant you should book if you want a more upscale meal in the perfect location. You can see the evening fireworks at the Magic Kingdom from the restaurant given the perfect location at the top of Disney’s Contemporary Resort. The restaurant also has a dress code to help play into the upscale atmosphere. You will find amazing steaks, sushi and other California inspired dishes. This is an amazing date night or place to have a celebration.

6. Paddlefish – Disney Springs

Paddlefish recently re-opened at Disney Springs to replace Fulton’s Crab House after it was closed. The restaurant is completely amazing with some of the most delicious seafood dishes. It is a higher priced restaurant, so you will want to make sure that it fits within your budget, but it is totally worth it!

5. Tusker House – Africa in Animal Kingdom

Tusker House is an awesome restaurant, no matter which meal service you go for. If you go for breakfast you will find a delicious breakfast buffet with some of your favorite characters like Donald, Goofy, Mickey, Minnie and Daisy available for pictures. If you go for lunch or dinner you will find African-inspired dishes served buffet style. This lets you try a little bit of everything and sample a cuisine that you may not be able to find as easy back home.

4. Le Cellier – Canada Pavilion in Epcot

If you want a delicious steak, then this is definitely the place for you. The steaks are well aged to perfection, with numerous cuts for you to choose from. The restaurant is a signature dining location at Epcot. This means that it will require 2 entitlements if you are on a Disney Dining Plan or higher price tags than other table service locations if you are paying directly. There is an extensive wine list, too, making this location an amazing culinary experience.

3. Morimoto Asia – Disney Springs

Whether you happen to be a fan of Iron Chef Morimoto or not, you are going to LOVE this location. The Japanese flavors in the dishes are perfect and there are a ton of great options. For you sushi lovers out there, this is definitely the best at Walt Disney World with top sushi experts preparing the rice and sushi. The steaks are to die for and there are ton of different noodle bowls and other options. It took us a few minutes just to review the menu and then even longer to make decisions.

2. Be Our Guest – Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom

This is still one of the most difficult restaurants at Walt Disney World to get a reservation to. Once you dine there, you will definitely see why. Dinner is my favorite service since you can meet the Beast in his study during dinner. I also love their steak or the quinoa option. The dining room is stunning, especially if you are lucky enough to dine in the ballroom. The entire location is perfectly themed to the movie and we can’t get enough of it!

1. ‘Ohana – Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

‘Ohana continues to hold a special place in our hearts as our favorite dining location at Walt Disney World for breakfast and for dinner. Both meals are all you care to enjoy, but with the food brought to your table. You just ask for refills of anything that you want and they will bring it to you. Breakfast is a collection of traditional breakfast favorites. Dinner starts with appetizers and salad and then meats are brought around on skewers. You can watch the meat roasting in the open kitchen in the middle of the restaurant. If you dine during Magic Kingdom’s fireworks, you can also watch the show from the restaurant!

About Christy Caby

I am a diehard Disney fanatic! I fell in love with all things Disney from an early age and that only increased once I first visited Walt Disney World! It led me to complete a yearlong Disney College Program working at merchandise locations within Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Disney-MGM Studios at that time) and I worked for Disney Parks & Resorts Technology in Project/Program Management. Now I get to write about Disney and help others plan their magical vacations! Disney holds a special place in the hearts of my entire family as my husband proposed there, we honeymooned there, took trips while pregnant with each of my boys and have visited with them many, many times from 8 weeks old through now. One of my favorite memories from each trip is always the look on my kids’ faces the first time they see the castle. I’d love to help you plan your magical vacation!
