10. The Coral Reef – Epcot: Future World

We absolutely love this restaurant. We love the seafood options on the menu, and we can’t get enough of the views. You get to dine in the middle of the aquariums and see the amazing animals that live there. You may even get to see a huge sea turtle, too.

9. The Yachtsman – Disney’s Yacht Club

If you are looking for an amazing steak, then you definitely need to head over to The Yachtsman. The steaks are perfectly aged and there is a wide variety of different cuts. There are also delicious seafood options, too! This is a great place for a special occasion.

8. Whispering Canyon Café – Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

This place is so much fun! The restaurant is a great place for the entire family to enjoy. The menu is full of comfort food and the all you can eat skillet with barbeque meats, corn, potatoes and more is definitely worth coming hungry for. The servers do crazy antics, plus you definitely have to ask for ketchup while you are there.

7. 50’s Prime Time Café – Disney’s Hollywood Studios

At this restaurant, you are coming to dine at Mom’s house. You are served by other members of the family and expected to mind all of your manners from the time you arrive. If you don’t, then you may get a talking to about it! The menu consists of home cooking favorites that you might expect right out of your mom’s kitchen. It is fun and delicious!

6. California Grill – Disney’s Contemporary Resort

This restaurant offers some of the best views in Walt Disney World. You are able to see the fireworks at Magic Kingdom while you enjoy your dinner. The restaurant is upscale, making it a great place for celebrations and special occasions. The menu is based on California cuisine with fresh flavors including seafood, steaks and sushi. This is definitely a must experience, and then you will want to keep coming back.

5. Tusker House – Animal Kingdom: Africa

I never knew how much I enjoyed African-inspired cuisine until dining at Tusker House. We love this place! It is an “all you care to enjoy” location, so you get to try as much as you want of everything. Breakfast is also amazing. You get to enjoy a variety of breakfast favorites, while you dine with classic Disney characters in their safari attire. You won’t go wrong, no matter when you go.

4. Teppan Edo – Epcot: Japan Pavilion

This is definitely a favorite for our family. We love Japanese food and hibachi is even better. The chef cooks right at the table in front of you while you dine with other guests, depending on the size of your party. The restaurant has an amazing selection of different meat options as well as veggies for the non-meat eaters in your group. You can even order sushi and other Japanese favorites. We love everything about this place!

3. Morimoto Asia – Disney Springs

If you are a fan of sushi, then you definitely have to dine at Morimoto Asia. There are sushi experts on staff to ensure that the rice and preparation is completely perfect for all of the sushi. If sushi isn’t your thing, there are also amazing steaks and various noodle and rice bowls. You will definitely love the atmosphere and the unique cocktails. This is a perfect place for a night out on the town to enjoy the nightlife of Disney Springs.

2. Be Our Guest – Magic Kingdom: Fantasyland

We totally understand why Be Our Guest is still one of the most difficult reservations to get. The dining room is beautiful and a perfect creation of the castle that we see in the beloved movie, Beauty & the Beast. The restaurant is so detailed down to the snow falling softly outside the windows in the ballroom (since it was snowing during the movie). It doesn’t matter whether you dine there for breakfast, lunch or dinner, they are all amazing. The experiences and menus are all completely different and have amazing French-inspired items. We love to dine here as much as possible, when we can get reservations!

1. ‘Ohana – Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

This is by far our favorite restaurant at Walt Disney World. No matter whether you dine for breakfast or dinner, the meal is an “all you care to enjoy” and served family style to your table. Breakfast is an assortment of classic breakfast favorites while dinner is a grilled meats on skewers along with amazing sides. The dessert with dinner is one of the best desserts on property. It is a bread putting topped with vanilla bean ice cream, then with a caramel and banana sauce poured on top. The best thing is that if you save enough room, you can order extra dessert if you can’t get enough of it the first time!

About Christy Caby

I am a diehard Disney fanatic! I fell in love with all things Disney from an early age and that only increased once I first visited Walt Disney World! It led me to complete a yearlong Disney College Program working at merchandise locations within Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Disney-MGM Studios at that time) and I worked for Disney Parks & Resorts Technology in Project/Program Management. Now I get to write about Disney and help others plan their magical vacations! Disney holds a special place in the hearts of my entire family as my husband proposed there, we honeymooned there, took trips while pregnant with each of my boys and have visited with them many, many times from 8 weeks old through now. One of my favorite memories from each trip is always the look on my kids’ faces the first time they see the castle. I’d love to help you plan your magical vacation!
